Introduction
Pyramid Electrical Contractors, Inc. has been in the Fairview Heights, Illinois area since 1982. The office and warehouse are centrally located next to Interstate 64. The corporation is a union contractor affiliated with the National Electrical Contractors' Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).

Completed projects involve commercial, institutional, industrial, communications, municipal, residential and traffic signal work. Major accomplishments include powering the Gateway Fountain in East St. Louis, Illinois (the world's largest fountain); installation of communications cable on the Martin Luther King Bridge, connecting Missouri and Illinois at St. Louis; installation of security, shore to boat distribution service and fiber optic, phone token ring systems for the Casino Queen boat in East St. Louis, built as the country's largest inland waterway vessel.

Institutional experience includes university dormitories, science and communications buildings, nursing homes, extensive hospital work in six area hospitals, the construction of several new secondary schools as well as fire alarm, computer and communications upgrades to area schools. Retail experience is vast, e.g. restaurants, service stations, shopping mall and clothing stores. Hotels and motels, convention centers and warehouses are also a large part of Pyramid's 24-year history.

Pyramid Electrical Contractors is pre-qualified with the Illinois Capital Development Board and the Illinois Department of Transportation. Traffic signal and highway lighting experience is extensive, as is the equipment necessary to complete these installations.

There are five estimators/project managers on staff and currently 60 electricians in the field. There is a full time safety director in house and a Corps of Engineers' approved Quality Control Program in place.
